Refund Policy
You should know exactly where you stand before you pay. This page sets out when the Initial Consultancy is refundable, what happens if we have to cancel, and how to ask for your money back.
Effective Applies to orders placed through itslbp.com
01The short version
| Situation | Refund |
|---|---|
| Initial Consultancy — paid, before your first meeting | Full refund, on request |
| Initial Consultancy — after your first meeting | Non-refundable, unless we cancel or cannot deliver — see below |
| No first meeting within 30 days of payment | We may close the order and refund you in full |
| Order placed but not paid | Nothing is owed; the order is released — see below |
| Other engagements | Refund terms given to you in writing before you pay |
This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
02Before you dispute a payment
Talk to us first. It is faster, and it is free.
If a payment looks wrong, you do not recognise it, or you are unhappy with what you received, email us before you contact your bank. We answer within two business days, and if a refund is due under this policy, we will issue it ourselves.
03The Initial Consultancy
The Initial Consultancy is personal consulting with Marvin Caldwell — up to 7 hours of consulting time in total, at the price shown on your order ($5,000, or less with an invitation code we issued to you).
- Before your first meeting: once your payment has arrived, you can ask for a full refund at any time, for any reason.
- After your first meeting: the fee is non-refundable. The first meeting is where most of the work begins — your situation is assessed and the plan for the engagement is set.
- If no first meeting is held within 30 days of your payment, we may close the order and refund you in full.
- Unused time is not refunded — unless it went unused because of us. See If we cancel or cannot deliver.
04Orders that are not paid
Placing an order on itslbp.com reserves it and charges nothing. We hold an unpaid order for 3 business days; after that it may be released, and nothing is owed.
- Part of the amount sent (for example, the first of two Zelle transfers because of a daily limit) and the order is then released or cancelled: we refund what you sent, in full.
- More than the amount due sent, by mistake or as a duplicate transfer: we refund the difference.
05If we cancel or cannot deliver
If we cancel a meeting, or cannot deliver the consulting time you paid for, you choose what happens:
- A new time — we reschedule so you receive all the time you paid for; or
- A pro-rata refund of your unused time, worked out from the price you paid: one-seventh of your price for each unused hour.
06Rescheduling and missed meetings
- To reschedule a meeting, give us at least 24 hours’ notice. There is no charge for rescheduling with notice.
- A meeting missed without 24 hours’ notice counts against your consulting time as if it had taken place.
07Other engagements
Follow-on engagements and other programs are scoped individually. Their refund terms are given to you in writing before you pay, and those written terms apply to that purchase.
08How to ask for a refund
- Email [email protected] with “Refund request” and your order number in the subject line, from the email address on your order if you can.
- We acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- We give you a decision within 5 business days. If we decline, we tell you why, by reference to this policy.
09How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are sent within 5 business days of our decision, by Zelle back to the email address or phone number the payment came from, or by bank transfer to the account a wire came from. If that is not possible, we agree another way with you in writing. Your bank’s own processing time then applies. We do not refund to a third party.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we change the effective date at the top and publish the new version here. The policy in effect when you placed your order applies to that order.
